[SOLVED]Rhythmbox to Tray?

Hi Guys,

this is my first post. I switched a week ago from gnome2 to XFCE.
I'm mostly satisfied with xfce except of Thunar (no search, no tabs, etc).

But i have a problem with my panel and Rhythmbox. I can't minimize it to tray.

Is it possible to edit the "Known Applications" (Bekannte Anwendungen) ?

All i can do in the Launcher menu is to clear the known apps.

Also i can't hide the blueman symbol. I checked the box for "hidden" but nothing happens.

OS is Ubuntu 12.04 with XFCE 4.8

Thanks and regards from Germany..

Andi

Re: [SOLVED]Rhythmbox to Tray?

The tray thing IDK (it may be a rhythmbox bug, though).
Regarding Thunar, you can create many custom actions for it (in right-click menu).
If you want to try some examples, put the contents at http://fpaste.org/Xw6g/ in ~/.config/Thunar/uca.xml (close and open it afterwards for them to show up).
There you have 'compare' (needs meld), 'disk usage' (needs baobab), 'search here' (needs gnome-search-tool), 'edit image' (needs imagemagick) and root actions (needs gksu).

Re: [SOLVED]Rhythmbox to Tray?

I found out what the problem was...

It was the icons-theme which was missing a icon for sound/rhythmbox.

So i blame it to the xfce-look.org guys smile

Thanks
