Has Mousepad been dropped/discontinued?

I was wondering whether Mousepad has been dropped by Xfce and/or its development has been discontinued...
I don't see it mentioned in the Xfce or Xfce-goodies websites and it has also been replaced by Leafpad in Xubuntu, so I'm not sure if it's still alive or not.
Thanks,

Acer Aspire 5920 | Debian Squeeze | Xfce

It seems discontinued, anyway you'll better way a developer to confirm my idea, I'm not sure about this.

Honestly, I just use geany and don't need other gui editors, but maybe some users will prefer simpler editors...

Re: Has Mousepad been dropped/discontinued?

On OpenSuse, a package maintainer said that it was discontinued (back in release of Opensuse 12.1, meaning Nov 2011). They suggested me Leafpad that for it's a clone, except for the logo :-)

Xfce is NOT Xubuntu. Bugs in Xubuntu don't mean that Xfce is buggy ...

Re: Has Mousepad been dropped/discontinued?

It’s been dropped from the official Arch Linux repos, but is still available from the AUR and builds and works fine.

Re: Has Mousepad been dropped/discontinued?

The 0.2 release is dead (the old leafpad clone, therefore leafpad is advised), but there is ongoing work for a better version, however that's been ongoing for 2 years now I think.
