[Solved] Windowing messed up

Hi, my first post here.
I just installed 4.8 xfce a few days ago ( on 12.04 64 bit ) and now I am having a problem with the desktop.
I was setting some user group settings and I then went and logged out and then logged back in.
When I logged back in my window frames around programs that are launched are gone.
For instance, the resize icons and the hot spot in the lower right corner are not there.
When I went to launch Windows Manager from Application Menu/Settings/ ( or from /System, can't remember)
nothing happens.
Also the Windows Manager Tweeks will not run. Other programs will launch, but the Windows
Manager and Tweeks seems to be gone.

Also, I noticed that my panel only has one workspace were I had 6 before. ( The workspace
settings show 6 workspaces but there is only 1 in the panel )

Can someone give me a clue as to what might have happened?

Thanks

Re: [Solved] Windowing messed up

You need to run "xfwm4". Run it in a terminal or in Alt+F2
Once you get your normal desktop, logout and make sure you check "Save session... " in the logout dialog

Xfce is NOT Xubuntu. Bugs in Xubuntu don't mean that Xfce is buggy ...
