[Solved] Failed to execute default Web Browser

On clicking on the "Help" button when viewing the panel configuration menu I get the error:

Failed to execute default Web Browser
Failed to execute child process
"chrome" (no such file or directory)

The first time I clicked on the button I was given the option to choose a browser. I ignored the defaults as chrome wasn't listed, and entered chrome.
However this isn't the correct executable name hence the error.

Does anyone know how to set the default Web Browser?

Thanks

Re: [Solved] Failed to execute default Web Browser

Hmm. I closed and restarted Google Chrome. It then asked if I wanted to set it as the default web browser, and I clicked yes.

On next clicking the "Help" button I was asked to choose a browser and set it correctly this time. So problem solved.

I would still be interested in if there are other ways of setting the default browser though. Knowing where the setting is stored within the file system would also be useful.

Found it:
Applications -> Settings -> Xfce 4 setting manager -> Preferred Applications -> Web Browser
