Hello,

Contributing to the Xfce documentation is explained here: http://docs.xfce.org/wiki/documentation.

To get an account:

If you want to help extending the application manuals or guides on this wiki, you can request an account on the xfce4-dev mailing list. Give yourself an introduction and we will setup an account on the wiki so you can start working!

Xfce development is done in C and Glib/GTK+ so you'll at least need to learn those. Code is managed using GIT so you also need to get familiar with this tool to contribute. A good way to get started once you have those basics is to work on fixing simple bugs reported on the Xfce bugzilla. A second step could be to volunteer as a maintainer for an Xfce Goodies project.

I hope this helps getting you started, don't hesitate if you have more questions.
