Clock Changes?

Maybe this is the wrong place to ask about changing the appearance "colors & font size".  But is it possible to change the size and color of the clock, if so where would or should I start, thanks.

I might be wrong, but I don't think so.
The date/time plugin allows for different fonts.

Re: Clock Changes?

You look at the 'add new items' for the panel and add the date/time plugin, then remove the clock plugin.

Been there and now have the ability to change the font style and size, thanks.  However I'm still lost in changing the font color, you got any ideas on how to accomplish that?

Re: Clock Changes?

Ops, sorry for that.
It actually doesn't allow for color change.
Maybe ask a feature request in bugzilla?

Thanks, we cannot always have what we want, at least I can now see my clock with these old eyes!

Re: Clock Changes?

You can use pango markups to customize the clock text. See: http://wiki.xfce.org/tips#customize_the … nel_plugin. Also, according to: http://developer.gnome.org/pango/unstab … ormat.html, you can also change the colour. This worked for me:

<span font_desc="bold 12" fgcolor="Red">%A %B %d, %Y - %l:%M %P</span>

...bold, size 12 and red.

Thanks for the tip, I'll have to try it!
