[Solved] Removing entries from the desktop rightclick menu

Hi,

I'm trying to remove the "Create Launcher" from the menu that appears when right clicking the desktop area.
I know how to remove the entire menu or just the applications menu but couldnt find any info regarding the location of this menu.
is it part of the thunar?
I also tried looking for the .desktop file and change the groups but i couldnt find it.

Thanks

Re: [Solved] Removing entries from the desktop rightclick menu

After some help from the irc xfce channel I found out that there is no easy way of doing it.
This menu is hard coded so I had to download the source of xfdesktop-4.8.3.
in the source I commented out the create launcher item from the xfdesktop-file-icon-manager.c and also one more place (just search for launcher in the code)
compiled and installed succesfuly.
now i have no create launcher item in the right click desktop menu.
I believe it is not much harder to remove other entries from the menu.

hope this helps someone...
