List of launchers on panel is too big

I have a list of launchers on one of my panels, and when I open the list the items are very large. Is there any way to change the size of these: https://i.minus.com/ib281HORlWbjqC.png

change the font size by either:

-  settings manager >> appearance >> fonts tab (use top bar to choose your font size)

or if that doesnt help

- look further down the font tab and change the DPI to a smaller number.
