Weather Applet not searching location database

XFCE version: 4.10.0-1
Distro version: xubuntu 12.10

The Weather Applett loads, and apparently checks the internet to get the location data from my IP address and then displays the current and forcast etc.
Great!

Except I don't want to know my ISP's weather, I want to change to my location.
I click 'Change...' button.
I type "boise" and click "Find"
The results panel displays: "Searching..." but no results ever display (even after several minutes)
.xsession-errors shows "(wrapper:3497): weather-WARNING **: Unable to detect the content length." immediately after I click 'Find'

I'm guessing there is a problem with parsing my input or the libgweather/Locations.xml file.

Any thoughts on what to do next?

Hello,

You should file a bug on the Xfce bugzilla.

Cheers,
