Scaling of individual windows possible?

is it possible to scale an individual window? That is, not to resize it, but to scale everything that is inside the window, without the application noticing that the window size has changed?

I found myself wishing for this feature when rediscovering some old DOS games with lousy resolutions... right now I'm just changing the display resolution, and switch back when using the other windows. Is there a better solution?

You might check to see if your emulator has a full-screen mode.

Re: Scaling of individual windows possible?

thanks, but fullscreen would be a bit overkill on a 27" screen. I would really like to have it windowed. I guess I will check some other window managers, especially those which implement magnifying glasses, assuming window scaling would be easier to implement than a magnifying glass.
