[Solved] Editing a launcher

I've just installed the Redneck Rampage collection.  (Yeeha!)  I'd like to edit the launchers to use some of the alternate icons that the package provides, but there's no way to get to them.  They're not listed under any category, although the default ones are.  And, there's no way to point the selector to the appropriate folder.  Where do I have to stick the files (No scatological replies, please.) in order to get this to work?

Re: [Solved] Editing a launcher

The last category in the "Select an icon" dialog is "Image files". This will allow you to traverse your file system to the location of the alternate icons.

Re: [Solved] Editing a launcher

The file I'm looking for is in ~/.wine/drive_c, and that doesn't show.  I made a copy in ~/Pictures but it can't find it.  It seems that the program doesn't recognize .ico as an acceptable extension.  Weird, if so.  Will work on it later, probably by converting it with the Gimp.

If you have imagemagic installed, then you could try

$ convert image.ico image.png

Edit:
BTW .wine is a hidden folder, so you can use CTRL+h to show these in file selector dialogs (and thunar).

Yes, I do have it and will use it.  TYVM.  And, I found out that in the file selector dialog, you can right-click and check Hidden Files.
