[Solved] Theme not applied to panel in Ubuntu

Hello,

since Ubuntu is going its own with Unity I switched to xfce today. Unfortunately I can not change the panel theme. I try to change the theme in the settings manager and the desktop and menus changed. But the panel keeps the same for colors and icons. Can you give me a tip how to change the panels theme?

Ubuntu 13.10, xfce4

Thanks
Thomas

To change the appearance of the panel, right-click the panel, select "Panel->Panel Preference" and on the Appearance tab, you can change some basic appearance attributes.

To change the panel icons, you'll need to change the icon theme (Settings Manager->Appearance->Icons). More icon themes can be found here.

Re: [Solved] Theme not applied to panel in Ubuntu

Hello,

I did have some success with "Theme configuration" and the "Panel configuration". The first one only changes when you restart your session. Icons are changed now. Thanks for your help.
