Thunar also can be an archiver?

Hello!

I have a idea (but it isn't good in KISS project) to integrate (so, create) archiver inside a Thunar. Something like Windows XP have (zip archiver).

The big problem is to choose a good archiver for Xfce4 - File roller? Xarchiver looks like dead, Squeeze too ...

But Thunar is always alive!

What do you think?

for now a well packaged file-roller doepend at maxmum on desktop-file-utils  gtk3  hicolor-icon-theme  dconf libarchive  file  json-glib  libnotify  p7zip plus the usual zip, unzip and so, but as you say select an archive tipe can by difficult.

If some can revie one of those 2 (Xarchier, or update Squeeze newui branch) maybe can help more that deppend on file-roller that can be problematic in future
