Problem with sound function keys

I have an ASUS X61SL laptop and I used to have Debian Wheezy 7 with GNOME3 desktop. Recently I removed GNOME3 and installed XFCE 4.8.2 Desktop.
When I press audio function keys an indicator pops up showing the action (increasing/decreasing/muting/unmuting) but the audio output of the laptop is not effected.
For your information I have PulseAudio driver
Any help ?

Update :
My volume controls are effecting the HD Audio output of laptop, not the analog one
