[Solved] Workspace switcher question - new to xfce

Hey,

Just switched to xfce after years with gnome. I have a question about the workspace switcher panel app. I like to start Fire Fox in panel 1, and Thunderbird in panel 4 - for example. In gnome, when reading an email with a link in it, clicking the link would take me to PANEL 1 - where FF is running. In xfce, if I click on an email URL in Thundederbird (panel 4) it moves FF from panel 1 to panel 4. This sort of defeats the purpose in splitting up programs across panels. Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks

The setting that you want to change is located at Settings Manager -> Window Manager Tweaks -> Focus tab -> "When a window raises itself". You probably want to set it to "Switch to the window's workspace".
