[Solved] Gnome (unity?) ghost in my xfce4 panel

I had everything working perfectly smile  But, idiot that I am, I did some system updating today ... and that one little program I wanted to test decided it needed the ubuntu-desktop. No big deal, I thought. But, it appears to have taken over the indicator widget in my panel.

The big deal, to me, is the clementine music dock. Up until now, if I put the mouse on the applet it would pop up a little panel displaying the current track being played. Plus, if I clicked on the icon the player would become visible. Wonderful, simple, perfect.

Now, I get nothing! To see the track I need to click on the applet, click on <enable> and then view the fullscreen application.

I just want to get it back to where it was ... any suggestions?

Okay. Fixed it.

Somehow the indicator panel in the xfce panel got activated. And clementine was using that for its widget. Removed the indicator and, instantly, the nice old panel thing reappeared!
