cursor becomes invisible

I updated to openSuSE 13.1, updating xfce everything appears to have updated correctly. That is my desktop, panel, etc. works the as it should; however the cursor is invisible. This - invisible cursor - only happens with xfce. Cursor is visible with Gnome, Enlightenment, openbox.

Any ideas to cure this problem. I really like xfce.

Re: cursor becomes invisible

Which cursor, the mouse one or the one that appears when the user is typing? And is it always missing, our only under certain conditions (a mouse cursor that disappears when the user is typing, or...?)?

MDM

Re: cursor becomes invisible

Mouse cursor at all times. I can see where the cursor should be showing because the icons on the panel or desktop will change, but the cursor is invisible.

Re: cursor becomes invisible

Does changing the mouse theme in Settings / Mouse and Touchpad affect the behavior?

Re: cursor becomes invisible

I don't know what happened. I have been using MATE, but logged in to try your suggestion and xfce was working perfectly. Go figure.
