[Solved] xfce4-session in verbose mode

hi,

my system is Debian Sid with Xfce 4.12. All is running fine, but
the xfce4-session manager is running in verbose mode and is writing logs in my home.
Where can I disable this function?
I've search a lot of hours, but I can't find a solution.
Thanks for hints to solved this "problem".

It's been fixed in git. Bug report here. Unfortunately, this has not yet been officially released. You'll have to wait until the next update to xfce4-session.

What happens if you make the file un-writeable by your user id?

thanks for your quickly answer.
I've it new compiled from git with the patch, but it is unfortunately the same before. The verbose mode is still enable .
Unwriteable is possible, but the next start is create a new file.
OK, I hope, this bug is fixed in the future...

If you applied the specified patch and are still witnessing this behavior - assuming that you've rebooted or at least logged out and back in - then you should add your observances (along with relevant information) to that bug report. That would, I assume, help ensure that "this bug is fixed in the future."

That's odd. I had the same problem and that commit got rid of the verbose logging. What ./configure or ./autogen parameters did you use when you built from git?

EDIT: Make sure you use the "--disable-debug" configure parameter.

It is not a big problem, it is only unpleasant...
