Thunar + gvfs-archive (archive mounter) bug

I'm using archive mounter with Thunar and it works well. But mounted archives in sidebar always look like this:

Thunar 1.6.10, gvfs 2.45, gvfs-archive package installed.

ugh i guess its an issue with your cyrillic character encoding I guess the files are coming from windows so they are https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows-1251 encoded? you probably just need to convert them to your distros encoding (eg. UTF-8) http://www.j3e.de/linux/convmv/man/

What does the filename look like in the location bar? And if you add it as a bookmark in the sidebar, what does it look like?

I don't think so. I use ru_RU.UTF-8 locale and my files contain only latin characters. I created an empty archive, compressed it with FileRoller and result:

Re: Thunar + gvfs-archive (archive mounter) bug

In my opinion, this is not a bug in thunar but in gvfsd-archive. Behold the gvfs-mount output:

gvfs-mount -l:
Mount(0): test.zip -> archive://file%253A%252F%252F%252Fhome%252Fuser%252Ftest%252Ftest.zip/
  Type: GDaemonMount

Is it possible to show only mount name (not path) like in location bar? Nautilus with same glib looks good (but in location bar same thing).

Re: Thunar + gvfs-archive (archive mounter) bug

I have not looked into how this is done. Probably it is possible, but I am still busy with the gtk3 port, so I will not look into this any time soon. Patches welcome.
