I like those backgrounds. I also like that you don't have a bunch of - or any - icons / et cetera on your desktop. Nice!

Re: Screenshots - 2015

In the Whisker Menu preferences.  Just copy the code into the Title box.  You can even change the font with <span font_desc="Name of Font Style Size">Applications</span>

Slackware 64 -current. Going for a different color scheme, matching it to the wall.

Nope, I started to use basic tiling built into xfce instead - an interesting feature I had no idea about. Still trying to get used to it - old habits die hard as they say ;-)

An underwater blue sort of color scheme for my xfce (custom gtk theme).

p.s. @storm: I didn't know xfce had tiling built in?  yikes

Re: Screenshots - 2015

Light theme (longer on battery). Working without mouse (most often on touchpad) so in maximize without borders. Without wallpaper.
Whisker menu in left top corner. Right top corner with shortcuts (in one applet, many shortcuts).
Without topmenu - everything is on the box from xfce big_smile

Re: Screenshots - 2015

I this is special on my Netbook 10'. I need more workspace so title bar is disable on full screen, icons from title bar are nested into top panel. I add second very small panel to hide some icons. It is showing after clicking into white arrow icon on top panel. Classical menu (whisker menu starts very slowly) is on top left position.

That's very interesting, can you give us an insight on how you achieved this result? Also, what happens with the window menu (File, Edit...Help) when you enter full screen?

Re: Screenshots - 2015

Menu wasn't change, it looks like in this screenshot:
http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-CGbfv98LDGk/U … lugins.png

This howto helps me get window icons into the panel:
http://www.webupd8.org/2014/07/xubuntu- … ndows.html

So i install this (for icons):
http://ppa.launchpad.net/eugenesan/ppa/ … ck-plugin/
and this (for hide titles):
https://github.com/baizon/xfwm4-titleless
And then we have options in window manager configuration "Hide title of windows when maximized"
[edit]
Now this site is unavailable, but maybe this will help:
http://thenumberzero.blogspot.com/2014/ … on-to.html
[/edit]

This little vertical panel is the second panel (important to be below main panel). I put it below main panel. To show panel after click i use custom action to run script saved into .local dir. Script is simple:

xfconf-query -c xfce4-panel -p /panels/panel-1/autohide -s false
xfconf-query -c xfce4-panel -p /panels/panel-1/autohide -s true

Where panel-1 is panel number.
This script turn on and off autohide. Maybe this is not very clever but works smile

Re: Screenshots - 2015

Going for a whitish Winter color scheme:
2iqjyig_th.jpg

The wallpaper is not actually winter, however: it is an infrared shot of regular Summer or Spring foliage.
