Why it isn't possible to disable mouse acceleration in Xfce settings?

In 'mouse and touchpad', the acceleration slider doesn't go lower than 0.1. I tried disabling acceleration again in Settings editor > pointers, but it seems to default back to 0.1 after setting the value to 0.
Modifying xorg.conf isn't that easy for the average user, I'd like to see some  improvement in Xfce mouse settings.

What version of Xfce are you using and what device do you have? On Xfce 4.12, I can set mouse acceleration to 0 and it sticks.

4.10. After updating to 4.12 disabling the acceleration is possible. Feel free to lock this thread.
I still suggest this method for all gamers: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Mo … celeration
