Any 2560 x 1440 issues with XFCE?

Just a fast question for everyone.  I'm thinking of upgrading to a 27" Dell 2560x1440 monitor and before buying just wanted to make sure everyone has been able to run XFCE at that resolution without any problems.

Thank you in advance.

I am running at that resolution, so there is no problem in general. Obviously particular hardware may not behave generally.

Can you give us any information on the graphics environment? If you have it or can install it, this output of this or the equivalent would be helpful:

inxi -G

MX-23 (based on Debian Stable) with our flagship Xfce 4.18.

@jrv:  Thanks!  No font, window, or scaling issues?  What size is your 1440 monitor?

@Jerry3904: Thanks, but I can't do that yet.  I will be using an i7 Chromebox that I'm upgrading to 16 GB of memory and a 500GB drive, but it's in pieces right now as I work on that :-).  It uses the Intel HD 5500 Integrated Graphics.  I'll be running XFCE via Crouton.  I already know Chrome OS handles the resolution just fine, but before committing to the monitor purchase wanted to make sure the XFCE will do the same (since XFCE couldn't really handle the Pixel 2 custom resolutions, and I was forced to use Unity there).

Re: Any 2560 x 1440 issues with XFCE?

I am running a 27" AOC: http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/aoc_q2770pqu.htm

I cannot claim to be a monitor expert nor sophisticated in the ways of graphics arts, so the depth of my appreciation is fairly shallow. I have been very happy with the resolution, and I have not considered any other.

I would expect that issues with fonts would be more on the monitor first then possibly the x-windows system, not on the desktop environment. Window or scaling issues I would also expect would indicate problems with the x-windows system. The desktop probably doesn't do any actual rendering; it probably just calls on x-windows to do the heavy lifting. So I could imagine the possibility of having problems in one resolution but not another, but I don't think it would be due to something the desktop environment is responsible for. Anyway, no problems while using xfce for me.
