A slight problem with my panel!

Hello everyone, I'm pretty new to xfce, but loving it so far!
I decided to play around a bit with the appearance and i'm getting close to perfection (in my eyes!) although I have a small issue

So, this is my desktop view

And this is how it looks when something overlaps the panel

So I'm basically looking for a way to hide the panel when it's overlapped, feels like i've tried everything in the standard settings, but I'm probably missing something. Any thoughts?
Thankful for answers.

ALSO, is there a way to make the panel 100% invisible, cause currently there's a thin border around it

Re: A slight problem with my panel!

Hello and welcome.

The following command will set the panel below all windows:

wmctrl -r "xfce4-panel" -b add,below

...note: you need to have the wmctrl app installed.

The thin border around the panel is the shadow that is created by the compositor. You can disable all dock shadows via Settings Manager > Window Manager Tweaks > Compositor > (uncheck) Show shadows under dock windows (assuming that you are using xfwm4's compositor).
