xfdesktop 4.13.1 - applicationsmenu

Hi all,

I've a question to this Bug

The Bug is not serious, but a bit annoying.
My desired .desktop files (only 10) have the "categories=X-Xfce-Toplevel".
I use no menu, but only the right-click on the desktop or the button xfdesktop -M.
Is there another way to turn off the annoying submenu?
For a hint many thanks in advance.

Btw. Is the Maintainer Eric Koegel active here in the forum and read here?
