Gui to Enable xfce Features?

i'm aware of commands to enable/disable services, and using Synaptic or apt to remove xfce components.

But is there a GUI other than Synaptic, which will allow me to point and click to enable/disable various xfce features (eg clipman, xfce4-session, xfce4-battery-plugin, etc.

Thx

Re: Gui to Enable xfce Features?

You are talking about a graphical package manager and that isn't part of Xfce but provided by your distro.

Re: Gui to Enable xfce Features?

i don't necessarily mean a package manager. That would install/uninstall components.

i was thinking of a gui to enable/disable components, without downloading/uninstalling them.

THX

MX Linux might be to your liking.   They have numerous features added.  Maybe you could check out the site or perhaps join the MX LInux forum.

Hi herbie643.

MX Linux might be to your liking

Thx for the tip. I've already checked out MX. As a distro, it's too big for my current project. However, maybe I can just use their widgets smile So thx! I'll check.

Update, i didn't see any tools in their repo doing what i described.

I'll likely try to build a tool such as I've described. I once built a shutdown gui-timer for xfce. It was fun!
