light-locker black screen, doesn't go back to tty8

So since a month i'm struggling with issue with light-locker, whenever the screensaver/lock is turned on after inactivity or after closing laptop lid session is locked correctly but monitor stays black. No reaction on keyboard or mouse, i have to switch to another tty and go back to tty8 to see password prompt.

xfce 4.12 running on debian with intel card.
4.18.0-2-amd64
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation UHD Graphics 620 (rev 07)

Any clues what is wrong?

Light-locker/lightdm are not Xfce components. If you don't get a response here, you may wish to try your distro's forum.
