How to change icons for XFce Pulse Audio applet

I have custom theme Clarity and its default color is gray but pulse audio icon it tray area is white.

I can't seems to find where is the icon for this applet, can It be change using themes. I've only found

/usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps/xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin.svg

but that one is for list of applets when you're editing panel.

Is use this applet because it seems that there are no more volume change icon (i've installed new system Fedora 29 XFce), I couldn't find it.

Re: How to change icons for XFce Pulse Audio applet

I've found this icons:

scalable/status/audio-volume-high-symbolic.svg
scalable/status/audio-volume-low-symbolic.svg
scalable/status/audio-volume-medium-symbolic.svg
scalable/status/audio-volume-muted-symbolic.svg

but after adding symlinks in my theme, the icon is changed, I think it's my icons but they're white not gray like icons in disk. Is pulse audio converting icons to white?

When I open the applet I see on the left my icon and it's gray.

Problem solved it seems that pulse audio icons is dynamic based on theme color, If I switch to white theme the color is gray.

Re: How to change icons for XFce Pulse Audio applet

The pulseaudio plugin uses your icon theme's audio-volume files as above - it wouldn't change the colour itself. Your theme might have some css in it that sets the colour to white.

However, since it uses a symbolic icon, you can theme it. Try using the following css:

#pulseaudio-button { color: #ffffff' }

...where "ffffff" is the rgb colour code of the colour that you want to use.

Re: How to change icons for XFce Pulse Audio applet

Sorry my theme is icon theme not general theme, I'm using Graybird theme with my icons, that have white color for pulse audio.

PS: is it possible to change Graybird to have while icons for Transmission, Bluetooth (blueberry), power and wifi? Those are icons I'm using and they are gray because that's how they are defined in my icon theme. I also have dnfdragora but that one is in color (I don't have in my icon theme).
