Re: Mousepad feel very slow to load and operate

Which distro are you using?

Run "mousepad" in a terminal and post back any output. Also, post back the contents of ~/.xsession-errors after mousepad starts up.

If also using systemd, check:

journalctl --user --no-pager | tail -n 100

...right after starting and closing mousepad.

Try changing the icon theme to see if it makes a difference. You might also need to build it with "--enable-debug" to see what is happening.

Re: Mousepad feel very slow to load and operate

do i need to use some flags or argument to get debugging output
i simply launch mousepad from terminal and didn't get any logging or error message

i wipeout the mousepad configuration, cache etc and set adwaita theme,

now launch time is
real    0m2.578s
user    0m0.017s
sys    0m0.098s

is it fine
other xfce app has very less time competitively
