How did you set up the applet? Mine looks different...

(The applet properties didn't give me much option to change)

Also I noticed that the applet version isn't the latest 0.5.1-1, it's 0.2.4-5. Why pick this version?

Okay, thanks for being my first tester. I downloaded the source code version from GitLab. I just have one question... don't you have any lines in gtk.css that alter the appearance of PulseAudio? It's strange because I can usually change the icon size.

Okay, thanks for being my first tester. I downloaded the source code version from GitLab. I just have one question... don't you have any lines in gtk.css that alter the appearance of PulseAudio? It's strange because I can usually change the icon size.
Edit: Try enabling "fixed icon size" at 24px

If I remember correctly, I already reverted those lines on gtk.css becuase it cuts the switch element and I'm no longer use the plugin anymore, but I don't understand why it needs to be 24px fixed size? I thought it would work on all icon sizes. I'm not on my computer right now, so I'll try it again tomorrow.

Also, the tarball archives from the gitlab have its newest version on 0.5, and the menu (or something to change the volume using slider when clicking the icon) also different from the latest version. Kinda interesting to see the source code you got is from 0.2.4 despite downloaded from GitLab...

Thanks for trying it, because this is really just a trial version. It worked perfectly on my Cachy OS, but I understand it's not universal. Would it be okay if I contacted you via email?
