I like to have a gap between the edge of the menu and the edge of the
selected menu-item, and more space between menu items.
style "menu-item" = "button"
{
xthickness = 0
ythickness = 2
}
style "menu" = "menu-item"
{
xthickness = 2
ythickness = 1
}
widget_class "GtkMenu" style "menu"
class "GtkMenu" style "menu"
widget_class "*MenuItem.*" style "menu-item"
class "*MenuItem*" style "menu-item"
if you're using "gtk-menu-images = 0" bump menu-item ythickness to 3
It's a nice theme, I like it.

Many of you have text on your desktops showing a whole bunch of stats. What app is this? I've been trying to find it with no luck.

have you set those Tango icons manually, or is there a patch somewhere?

Both are the default in xfce4-panel, just a small patch to remove the handles.
