oh oh oh!!
It seems that not too much people here is using a slackware, or a slack based distro! Really strange, to me..
OK, anyway.. My distro (yea, you know it!) is a slackware for my first notebook (an old - 1992! - Acer TravelMate 600TER); and the slackware based DeLi Linux for my second one (very very old!), a Compaq Armada 1590DT..
That's all..
Just a question: it's possible to see poll's results like charts or something like?
Bye everybody, see you soon!

Well, you can count me in. I'm using VectorLinux 6.0 Standard, based on Slackware 12.1.

Hi everybody..
Just to say two words, very quickly: I first tried xfce when I've to use an old notebook (I went to university and a PIII - 256 MB RAM that's all my possibilities!!): it worked very very light! But without forget the look of my desktop, with the simple add-on of the Aurora package!! Did you say Plasma?? KDE 4??? What's that!!!!
Now, finally, I worked hard to have a new notebook: Intel Pentium Dual Core and 4 GB RAM.. I've tried all I can: KDE 4.2.3, Enlightenment17, Gnome 2.26, Lxde.. All well done, nothing to say.. but I can't forget my style.. I've came back to my beloved little mouse.. his name is xfce.. and I'm proud of it!!
That's all.. I hope I haven't bored you, men!!
Goodbye everybody!, see you soon

My first successful Linux experience was with Xfld, and I instantly fell in love with Xfce.
Nowadays I'm using Slax as my main system. Takes one night per Xfce release to compile everything, but it's well worth the time and effort.

I've switched almost all of my computers to Xubuntu. I really like the way that Xfce does things. It has all of the functionality that I need, and it still is amazingly lightweight and fast.

First it was Xubuntu 9.04, then didn't like the long lag time in updating packages, so moved to Arch Linux. Sticking with that from now on in spite of the somewhat tediousness with config files. Bleeding Edge can be fun (barring issues). The web browser I've been using for the last 5 years has been Mozilla Suite nightlies (now known as Mozilla SeaMonkey daily trunk builds).
