Hi all,
Here's my xubuntu install on a Dell Inspirion 6000 Pentium M with 2 gigs ram. Desk Top Nova, Screenlets, Cairo Dock and Vibrant Icon pack.

Just the basic F17 with little tweaking. The background I suppose is (edit: NOT) GNOME's new background. (it may be F17 standard background)

XFCE is simple, stable and customizable... all i wanted for my workstation .

Ubuntu 10.04 X64 xfce 4.6.1-1ubuntu3 ... just waiting for UBUNTU 12.04 to install the new version of XFCE.

installed only the base system (alternative iso) ... then my package list
