Change Resolution on Xfce on G3 iMac on Xubuntu

Hi!

I have just installed Xubuntu on a G3 imac (tray loading) and the screen resolution is undesirable (it looks 640x480ish).
when i go into settings -> display settings, the only option in the resolutions list is Default.

How would i change the resolution to 800x600 or higher?

You have to fix this in the xorg.conf file. Set the right monitor refresh rates and add the correct resolutions. (Search Google with you monitor model and xorg.conf. This will give you some results I guess).
