How to make fonts smaller?

If you look at the attached image, you'll notice that I'm running Xubuntu 8.04.1 in VM Workstation and some fonts are very large. How could I make them smaller?

Regards.

Re: How to make fonts smaller?

I did not see a link to an attached image.

I am running Mandriva here.  On the Settings menu, there is a selection User Interface Settings.  This option will let you change the font itself as well as the size.

Re: How to make fonts smaller?

I'm running Linpus. On the desktop, I can right click and bring up an advanced menu. Next I select settings and Desktop Settings. This opens a window with Appearance and Behavior near the top. Selecting Behavior changes the window to allow changing Icon size and font size of items on the desktop anyway.

Hope that helps,

Tony
