Re: Going to root in Thunar?

Have you tried "sudo thunar"?

Works in Mint, and prolly Ubuntu...

Re: Going to root in Thunar?

Thankx for your help. I haven't tried that. I'm using Mint XFCE 5. I know in Ubuntu Gnome I can press Alt+F2 and type gksudo nautilus and hit Enter. Would I type sudo thunar into a terminal?

Re: Going to root in Thunar?

gksudo thunar is what you want.

In a launcher type gksudo thunar and you will have a launcher on your desktop to launch thunar as admin.

Re: Going to root in Thunar?

Or you could create a custom action.

From thunar: Edit->Configure custom actions...

Click on the '+' button.

In the Basic tab, in the command box enter: gksudo thunar %f
Fill the other boxes as you see fit.

In the Appearance tab:
File Pattern: *
Check Directories and uncheck all the others.
