best way to stop hald polling on removable drives
What is the best way in XFCE to stop hald from polling the removable drives? Not just once, but definitively.

As I understand, Xfce 4.8 don't use HAL anymore. So it may be not the best forum to ask this question ...
Xfce is NOT Xubuntu. Bugs in Xubuntu don't mean that Xfce is buggy ...

Then what is it doing on my pc polling each cardslot every 2 seconds? Specialy after I disabled all automounting of insertable media. I have had HAL on my pc before, but never this polling stuff. But ok, I'll search somewhere else.
