How to replace xfce-power-manager with gnome-power-manager

I have archlinux+xfce on my thinkpad T400 .
When i reboot, the screen brightness will be set to the highest level. It's boring.
As i know the gnome-power-manager could set the default brightness while the xfce-power-manager could not.
So, how could i get gnome-power-manager work with xfce4.8 ?

Many thanks.

Just install Gnome Power Manager and remove the Xfce one, should not be a problem as far as I know.
