Truecrypt volumes not showing in Thunar side pane shortcuts

A Truecrypt volume does not show in the top part of Thunar's (1.2.3) side panel shortcuts. So I dragged the folder, media/truecrypt1, to the bottom part of the side pane and a shortcut appeared.

But when I log out, this shortcut disappears. I created a permanent directory at media/truecrypt1, thinking that Thunar would now remember the shortcut, but it does not.

Ideally I'd like the Truecrypt volume to show automatically in the top part of the side pane. Or is there a way to tell Thunar to remember the shortcut in the bottom pane permanently?
