How to completely hide text under desktop icons?

Big HI to all of you! smile

So my question is: Is it possible to completely hide the icon labels on the Xfce Desktop? I was tinkering with .gtkrc-2.0 for a while now but I didn't find a solution. (I found plenty of information about hiding the background of the icon text, but not the text itself.) Back then when I was using Gnome2, it was done by changing the font size to 0 pixels in the configuration editor, so I tried font_name = "<fontname> 0" in gtkrc, but it doesn't change anything (xfdesktop --reload doesn't complain about it, though).

I'm using the latest version of Xfce, that is 4.10 under Arch Linux (with Linux kernel version 3.9.7-1).

Thank you for your help, in advance. smile

There is a custom size option in the Icons tab of Desktop Settings but it won't accept a value of zero. It changes it to 4. I think it may require a code change to allow it.

Yeah, I tried that, too. sad
Any idea where it can be changed by code?
