Is there a way to find out if someone logged into xfce after locking the screen? Thanks.

Can you explain a little better as to what you are trying to do? Which distro?
"who", "last", "loginctl" or "ck-list-sessions" might help depending on exactly what you want.

Have a look at the xscreensaver-command man file, specifically the "watch" parameter. You could run the program like this:
xscreensaver-command -watch > /tmp/xscr.log
...and review the log file for info. The log file would look something like this:
UNBLANK Thu Aug 1 22:26:49 2013
LOCK Thu Aug 1 22:27:53 2013
UNBLANK Thu Aug 1 22:27:57 2013
There is also a perl script in the man file that you could adapt to meet your needs.
