Compositor transparency not activating after reboot

Hey guys,

In window manager tweaks theres a slider that allows you to make windows transparent when they are moving, resizing, etc.   After setting the slider to about halfway everything works as it should, until I reboot the effect is lost but I go back into the tweaks settings and the sliders are where I left them but not functioning.   I looked at the FAQ  and tried the Visual Appearance;  Windows "How do I enable panel transparency and window shadows?"  section to no avail.  Any ideas as to what it could be?

Thanks in advance smile

Re: Compositor transparency not activating after reboot

It's happening to me since I updated to 4.10, it's most likely a bug. I filed it but so far nobody paid attention to it. This is the bug I filed:

Grumble rumble mumble foooey....   Allright,  I asked in the Manjaro forums and at least one guy had the same problem... Apparently it's not that popular of a feature...

Works perfectly here, (Fedora 19 with Xfce 4.10) maybe the Window Manager has crashed. Try running xfwm4 and see if it starts working.
