Bluetooth manager?

I'm on Fedora 20 (XFCE 4.10.1)
It looks like the old package Blueman is no longer maintained, and there's no obvious alternative anymore. What's the best way to get bluetooth running on xfce?

Re: Bluetooth manager?

F20 introduced a new version of bluez and Blueman hasn't been updated to work with it (yet?). I'm using Bluedevil but that is a KDE package and will pull in KDE deps if it is the only KDE package you have.

Re: Bluetooth manager?

We are using Blueman in the Debian Stable repo, and it works very well for our MX-14 now in RC2.

MX-23 (based on Debian Stable) with our flagship Xfce 4.18.

Yeah, I tried bluedevil -- but looks like it doesn't even want to start up automatically without manual setup. I'm wondering, though, if there's an XFCE-blessed way of doing things.
Also, some stupid things about bluedevil -- for instance, it refuses to let me change the hostname, keeps complaining that it's not always visible, etc.

# yum install blueman
[...]
Package blueman-1.23-7.fc20.x86_64 is obsoleted by bluez-5.14-1.fc20.x86_64 which is already installed
Nothing to do

Re: Bluetooth manager?

MX-14 is 32bit only, maybe that plays a role?

I should have mentioned I only use it for a mouse. I haven't tried anything else with it.

It used to but there seems to be a problem at the moment.
