LeafPad cannot display file

Hello, please try to open this file in LeafPad if it is readable for you.

The file is in zip (compressed) format. Leafpad won't read compressed files directly, you need to unzip the file first.

Please try to open that logfile inside if it displays or not. Thanks wink

And here is another strange unopenable file in LeafPad. I guess I will just switch to gedit by default :-]

Sorry about that. Even though you wrote leafpad, I was reading mousepad. I installed leafpad and yes, am seeing the same as you. Same file opens fine in mousepad. Must be some sort of bug in leafpad that it isn't able to properly display files with special characters. You could file a bug report.

Also give mousepad a try - its lighter than gedit and is written by the Xfce developers (whereas leafpad is not).
