Thunar unmount hangs 100% cpu

xfce4 v4.10
thunar-1.6.3
thunar-volman-0.8.0
gvfs-1.16.3
udisks2-2.1.0
Slackware 14.1

Plugging in a USB drive mounts the drive, opens thunar and I can see the contents. When I right click on the drive to unmount it, thunar maxes out the CPUs at 100% and the process needs to be killed. I experience this with both udisks2 and udisks. While the CPU is chugging another terminal (mount) shows that the partition is no longer mounted. The unmount works but gets hung.

Compiling thunar-volman with debugging (full) shows:
In file included from /usr/include/stdlib.h:24:0,
                 from main.c:26:
/usr/include/features.h:330:4: error: #warning _FORTIFY_SOURCE requires compiling with optimization (-O) [-Werror=cpp]
#  warning _FORTIFY_SOURCE requires compiling with optimization (-O)

Any help?

Re: Thunar unmount hangs 100% cpu

I'm not sure if this is an issue with Xfce or with Slackware.  You might want to check with a Slackware support forum and work on this from both ends.

Re: Thunar unmount hangs 100% cpu

It might be a tumblerd issue. Try killing the tumblerd process when the hang occurs and see if that releases thunar so that it can unmount.
