How to change the icon for XFCE4-Timer-Plugin

I want to use the xfce4-timer-plugin, but  want to change the icon to better match my theme. I am sure this has to be done in the code some sort of way, but where would I go to find that?

Thanks,

Dennis

Re: How to change the icon for XFCE4-Timer-Plugin

It looks like the icon for it is this one (this is 4.12):

/usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/xfce4-timer.png

Barring some cleverer solution from somebody else, you could try replacing that with your own using the same name.

MX-23 (based on Debian Stable) with our flagship Xfce 4.18.

Thanks for the reply. I should have been clearer. Sorry. I am referring to the animated icon that appears in the panel.

Thanks,

Dennis

Looking at the code, it appears to be a gtk progress bar drawn onto the panel widget.

How is it that you want to change it?

Something that would match the elementary-dark icons (the white panel icons) a little better. Something along these line

Numbers optional though

Re: How to change the icon for XFCE4-Timer-Plugin

You'd have to hack the code to get that effect.
