xfce theme trouble

Theme I installed doesn't change tabs and buttons appearance. I've used exactly same theme earlier on other xubuntu system, it worked fine. This time I installed only basic system and basic xfce workspace, maybe some packages missing?
How it should look:

How it look now:

theme I'm using: https://github.com/jpfleury/clearlooks-phenix

Re: xfce theme trouble

Did you follow the instructions in the readme file about determining your GTK3 version and then installing the appropriate version of that theme to match? There are, apparently, seven different versions of the theme. I am just guessing, but that - along with past observations, lol - leads me to believe that when your version of GTK3 gets updated, this will probably break again.

There is also a list of requirements in that readme:

Requirements

Requirements for Clearlooks-Phénix v1: packages gtk2-engines (if GTK2 applications are used) and gnome-themes-standard.

    Requirements for Clearlooks-Phénix v2: packages gtk2-engines (if GTK2 applications are used), gnome-themes-standard and gtk3-engines-unico.

Requirements for Clearlooks-Phénix v3 and newer: package gtk2-engines (if GTK2 applications are used).

See:

Regards,
MDM

Thx, somehow missed "and newer" in readme. Now works fine.
