Reset the desktop

All:
Is there an easy way to reset the desktop to initial XFCE settings, i.e. to the initial state when XFCE is first installed?

Thanks,
Masoud

I use F25 and Gnome Xfce, with all updates applied, on a X86_64 kernel with 4gb of DRAM and EVGA Geforce 7600 GS PCI-E 256mb DDR2 video card.

Re: Reset the desktop

@ToZ

You pointed to that archlinux wiki article for resetting the Xfce desktop, but I am missing that folder

~/.config/xfce4-session/

That leaves

mv ~/.config/xfce4/ ~/.config/xfce4-bak

for doing a reset.

That's all?

Under KDE doing a desktop reset was quite easy, just backup and reset

~/.config/kde4/

Re: Reset the desktop

Yes, deleting the ~/.config/xfce4 and ~/.cache/sessions ~/.cache/xfce4 should do. I don't think ~/.config/xfce4-session is used anymore.

You should do this while not logged in or not running the Xfce DE.
