Re: thunar

Your post doesn't make sense. Perhaps you can try re-phrasing it in the form of a question or problem?

Re: thunar

My guess is that the OP wishes to be able to highlight multiple audio files in Thunar, press Enter, and have them play consecutively.

I do not think this is possible, btw, since it doesn't work for me. However, I just learned that I can highlight multiple audio files, right-click one of them, and select one of the "Open with..." options - and they will do so. Which may be good enough, but does appear to require a mouse or comparable device.

MDM

In that case, you could create a Thunar custom action like this:

tca10.png
tca2.png

It will load all selected audio files into parole and start playing them. If you want to use another application other than parole, you just need to change the command.

Re: thunar

Does this alleviate the need for a mouse (device)? IOW, right-clicking not necessary? If so, I'll probably end up using that one, myself (thanks!). I assume I can just substitute VLC for Parole.

Re: thunar

MountainDewManiac, just that's what I meant, it's a shame that it can not be done. Otherwise, as you mention, you have to click several times to achieve it. thanks for your answer. smile
