Libreoffice won't start anymore under Xubuntu 18.10

I get this error message:

libvclplug_gtk3lo.so: undefined symbol: gdk_wayland_display_get_type

I installed now an older version which works fine (6.1.2). This version was originally shipped with Xubuntu 18.10.

I also tested the latest version 6.2.0 which was released today but unfortunately I get the same error message.

Any ideas what could be the problem or what I can do?

Many thanks.

6.15 is available today for standard use, and 6.2 for the adventurous.

Maybe one of those will work?

This seems to be the issue. And it was reported just a few days ago.

Version 6.2 doesn't work but 6.1.5 does. Many thanks.

6.2 works fine here, but the launcher has to be redirected to /opt/libreoffice6.2/program/soffice
