Too much scroll change brightness

Hello,

On xfce panel there's an applet "Power Manager Plugin", some people like to use keyboard to change brightness on their display, for me I always hover my mouse to the icon and scroll, only problem I need help with is the scroll percentage are way too much it just make my screen fully dark sometimes.

any idea how to fix this?

Re: Too much scroll change brightness

Which version of the power manager are you using?

With the newly released 1.7.0, you can now specify the step increment or use exponential increments. See this bug report.

Re: Too much scroll change brightness

Arch is pretty good with staying aligned with upstream releases. I just flagged it as out of date: https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extr … r-manager/. It should be available it's repositories soon.
